Missing teeth can make eating, speaking, and smiling feel uncomfortable or even embarrassing. At Complete Dental Works, we understand how frustrating this can be and offer dentures and partials to help restore your confidence and comfort. Designed to replace missing teeth and surrounding tissues, dentures are a trusted, affordable solution for a complete smile.
Our caring team provides two types of dentures: full dentures for replacing all missing teeth and partial dentures when some natural teeth remain. Let’s find the option that works best for you.
Full Dentures
Full dentures are used when all teeth in the upper, lower, or both jaws are missing. There are two types of full dentures:
Conventional Dentures: These are custom-made after the gums have healed from tooth extraction. While it takes about 8–12 weeks for healing, conventional dentures ensure a snug, comfortable fit.
Immediate Dentures: Made in advance, these are placed right after tooth extraction, so you don’t have to go without teeth during the healing process. However, since gums and bones shrink during healing, adjustments may be needed to maintain a proper fit. Immediate dentures are often a temporary solution until a more permanent set can be crafted.
Partial Dentures
If you still have some natural teeth, partial dentures can fill in the gaps and prevent your remaining teeth from shifting out of place. Partial dentures are made with a plastic base and replacement teeth, supported by a metal framework that attaches to your existing teeth.
Precision Partial Dentures: These use internal attachments instead of visible clasps for a more natural look, blending seamlessly with your smile.
Benefits of Partials: They restore your ability to eat and speak properly, fill gaps in your smile, and maintain the alignment of your remaining teeth.
